Abdeslam Afras, Regional Manager Continental Europe, AccessData

Abdeslam Afras is the Regional Manager, Continental Europe, of Access Data. He is responsible for developing Access Data’s business in continental Europe and providing the right solutions in the growing and demanding market of eDiscovery and Forensics for corporations, Law Enforcements and Government Agencies.

Abdeslam supports organizations in complying with laws and regulations and provides digital forensics training and certification. He work with Corporations, Law Enforcements and Government Agencies to reduce the risks and costs of litigation. He also delivers services and solutions that literally walk the user through each phase of the electronic discovery process, from litigation hold to load file, in an automated, repeatable and defensible manner.

Abdeslam helps legal professionals to manage, organize and analyse every aspect of the litigation process to get a complete control of a litigation. This includes simplifying the professional life of CIO’s and IT-Manager’s managing the data across the network. Protecting organizations Intellectual Property against internal and external theft is also part of Abdeslam’s portfolio. Other responsibilities include locating classified, confidential and personally identifiable information (PII) spillage, and detect data leakage and enforcing PCI compliance.


Ralf Briglmeir, Senior Manager, IT Security, Bit9

Ralf Briglmeir brings over 20 years of IT security sales and technical experience to Bit9, and has spent the past 15 years driving customer success at major IT software security companies. In his role as Senior Regional Manager, Briglmeir has expanded revenue growth and regional expansion for Bit9.
Before joining Bit9, Briglmeir served in senior leadership roles that successfully developed and managed new sales territories for global IT security companies such as Integralis (co-founder), Allasso, ForeScout Technologies and ArcSight.


Christian Chmiel, Former Deputy Head of Compliance, Wirecard Bank

Christian A. Chmiel, Former Deputy Head of Compliance with Wirecard Bank AG in Germany, is specialized within the field of online fraud investigations, credit card compliance and underwriting for acquiring banks.

He has served clients across a wide range of sectors, including financial services, IT software, entertainment, travel and health. Mr Chmiel has undertaken assignments in the UK and mainland Europe, Israel, Canada and the United Arabian Emirates.

He brings deep experience in conducting investigations into fraudulent intentions of online merchants, risk calculations and forecasting methodologies. His clients have included major, internationally-listed companies, as well as large, privately owned, or private equity-funded businesses.

Mr Chmiel has studied in Hamburg (Germany), Lincoln (UK) and Gloucestershire (UK). He holds a bachelor's and diploma degree in European Business Administration and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Currently he is writing his doctoral thesis at the University of Gloucestershire focusing on risk forecasting methodologies. He is author and coauthor of several books in the fields of fraud, investigations and accounting.


Wolfgang Fricker, Senior Expert Information Security, Adidas

Working for the Global  IT Security Department  at the adidas-Group;  Responsible for the IT Security Compliance Framework, Internal and External audit preparation and execution;  Risk analysis; Remediation of enterprise-wide Defense in Depth gaps.

Being an IT security professional for almost decade held in his previous work life several positions as system administration, Software Development and Product Management for leading companies. Wolfgang holds a university degree in Information Science (FH-Darmstadt) and is a certified PCI DSS Internal Security Assessor.


Thorsten Jaeger, Manager, Systems Engineering Telco/MSSP, Fortinet

Thorsten Jaeger has been in Network Security for 15 years. Over 8 of these years with Fortinet. He specialises primarily in Planning and Consulting of Security Solution in Carrier and MSSP Networks. He is a member of the Technical Advisory Group of CTO Office in Fortinet. He currently lives in Zurich, Switzerland.


Marcus Klische, Security Advisor, Research in Motion

Marcus Klische works for Research in Motion within the BlackBerry Security Group in an Advisory role, interfacing with security agencies, governmental bodies and strategic enterprise customers, his primary focus is to aid them in understanding the various BlackBerry security countermeasures and the true extensible nature of the solution.

Marcus Klische has more than 20 years of experience in IT Industry, and with a broad range of IT Security, Product Management, and Government solutions experience. Over the last five years Marcus has been working internationally as a consultant in the areas of national electronic identity. Prior to that Marcus had worked with a number of System Integrators to drive adoption of the state of the art technologies in the Government and Enterprise space. Some of his recent projects include adoption of biometric use in the German and Swiss Army, automated Border Crossing Projects and ePassport projects.


Josef Meier, Manager Solution Architects Central Europe, HP Enterprise Security

Josef is a Network Security professional with over 10 years of experience. Prior to joining TippingPoint, an HP company in 2008 as a Senior Systems Engineer for the German speaking countries and Eastern Europe, he was the Head of IT-Security for a Cloud Security Provider.


Markus Meissner, Sales Director Central & Eastern Europe, Protegrity
 
Markus Meissner is the Sales Director for Central & Eastern Europe, responsible for developing business for Protegrity’s Data Security Platform in his Region. Prior to his start at Protegrity in Jan 2012 , Markus has worked for the last 10 Years  in the Security and Cloud business for McAfee, Microsoft, antispameurope and Clearswift, responsible for developing go-to market strategies, running sales organisations and promoting software, cloud and security solutions with industry leaders. As a result of his experiences Markus has a deep understanding of the security and performance issues facing technology professionals in today’s fast evolving security landscape.


Ron Meyran, Director, Product Marketing, Security, Radware

Mr. Meyran, an industry security specialist, manages the product marketing activities of Radware's security products division. His responsibilities include: go-to-market strategy and planning; new product version visioning; analyst and media education; and the support of key project activities for worldwide customers in both the enterprise and carrier markets.

Mr. Meyran's views have been published in many IT & security industry magazines, including CRN, Embedded Computing Design, Financial Services Technology, Government Technology, InternetNews, Processor, SC Magazine, and TMC. He is also a frequent speaker on the conference circuit and has been invited to lecture as an expert commentator. Mr. Meyran holds a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Ben-Gurion University and MBA from Tel Aviv University.


Jeffrey Moore, Senior Enterprise Security Manager, Adidas

Responsible for corporate information security policies and standards, and plans all enterprise strategic information security measures. They also manage the company's Payment Card Industry (PCI) security remediation and compliance efforts, vulnerability management and security incident response programs.

Over the last 24 years, Jeff has held various Management positions at companies such as European Spacecraft operations Centre (Thorn), Global One, Bindview, Peregrine Systems. In these companies, Jeff has developed , and implemented, successful risk assessments and security strategy methodologies.


Dr. Hendrik Schöttle, Lawyer, Osborne Clarke

Dr. Hendrik Schöttle is an attorney and certified lawyer for IT law at the Munich office of the law firm Osborne Clarke. His practice focuses on the fields of IT law, including advice on legal matters regarding data protection and data security. He worked as programmer and web designer at the Institute for Law and Informatics, Saarland University. Dr. Hendrik Schöttle is the author of numerous publications, co-author of several handbooks and commentaries such as the “Beck'sches Mandatshandbuch IT-Recht” (Handbook on IT law) and the “juris Praxiskommentar BGB” (a commentary on the German civil code). He is a lecturer in IT law at the “Deutsche Anwaltakademie” (German Lawyer’s Academy) and is a frequent speaker on topics relating to IT law. Hendrik is member of the Data Protection Law Committee of the Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer (German Federal Bar), a member of the Information Technology Section of the Deutscher Anwaltverein (German Association of Lawyers), and a member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Recht und Informatik (German Society for Law and Computer Science).


Lucas von Stockhausen, Software Security Consultant, HP Enterprise Security

Lucas von Stockhausen is Software Security Consultant at HP Fortify. He is responsible for planning and executing Software Security Assurance (SSA) initiatives for Fortify customers. Fortify’s Software Security Assurance solutions protect companies and organizations from today’s greatest security risk: the software that runs their businesses. Fortify reduces the threat of catastrophic financial loss and damage to reputation as well as ensuring timely compliance with government and industry mandates. Fortify’s customers include government agencies and Global 2000 leaders in financial services, healthcare, e-commerce, telecommunications, publishing, insurance, systems integration and information technology.


Stefan Sulistyo, Senior Manager I.T. Security and Compliance, SKY Deutschland

Stefan is responsible for the information security of Sky Deutschland's largely IT driven business with millions of highly sensitive customer records and right in the middle of a large scale paradigm shift in the global media industry. 
  
Prior to joining Sky, Stefan consulted large corporate customers across Europe in all industries as part of Accenture's Security Consulting practice, as well as Deloitte & Touche Enterprise Risk Services. During his professional services tenure, he collected various multi-letter acronyms and currently holds CISA, CISSP, ITILv3 certifications, as well as being trained as a Data Privacy Officer.

Stefan holds a M.Sc in Computer Science and a B.Sc. in IT and Business.
