Heathrow Airport London Underground's Piccadilly Line provides you with a quick, route from the airport to the capital. Two ZONE 6 stations serve all four terminals (one for Terminal 4, the other for Terminals 1, 2 and 3), journey time is under an hour and you shouldn't have to wait longer than ten minutes for a train. Purchase a Travelcard, which will allow you to use the buses as well.
Train Times - The first train to central London leaves Heathrow Terminal 4 at 05:04 (05:47 on Sundays) and the last train leaves Terminal 4 at 23:33 (23:17 on Sundays). The first train from central London arrives at Heathrow Terminal 4 at 06:29 (07:49 on Sundays) and the last train leaves at 00:06 (23:36 on Sundays). It takes a further five minutes to reach Terminals 1, 2 & 3. These times are subject to change - it is advisable to check with London Underground travel information before travelling. During the night the night bus N9 connects Heathrow with central London. The service runs every 30 minutes and operates from the central bus station.
Heathrow Express The Heathrow Express is a non-stop train service that offers the fastest travel option between Heathrow Airport and central London. Services run every 15 minutes and the journey time is just 15 minutes; 7/8 minutes more to and from Terminal 4. For details of special offers and to pre-book tickets visit www.heathrowexpress.com. If you are flying out of Heathrow, airline check-in facilities are available at Paddington Station. You can check-in your luggage and collect your boarding card any time on the day of travel, up to two hours before the flight (one hour with hand luggage only). Paddington is located on the District and Circle lines of the London Underground network.
Gatwick Airport & Gatwick Express Gatwick railway station at South Terminal has more than 900 services daily to and from all parts of the UK. The rail station is directly linked to Gatwick's South Terminal and just a few minutes away from North Terminal via a transit train link. Rail information and ticket desks are in the arrivals areas of both North Terminal and South Terminal. Services operate every 15 minutes during the day to and from Victoria - and every hour at night.
London City Airport Frequent shuttlebus services operate to and from Liverpool Street Station (Central, Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City Lines) via Canary Wharf (Jubilee Line, DLR) and to the Canning Town station (Jubilee Line, DLR, Silverlink Metro). Option 1 - via Canning Town The green bus operates a shuttle between the airport and Canning Town Station, just five minutes away and from where you can catch the Jubilee Line into the centre of London. Option 2 - via Canary Wharf The blue bus operates a shuttle between the airport and Liverpool Street, via Canary Wharf. At Canary Wharf you can change for the Jubilee Line to travel into the centre of London. Journey time to Canary Wharf is just 10 minutes. Option 3 - via Liverpool Street If you travel on to Liverpool Street on the blue shuttlebus you can connect with the Central, Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City Lines, as well as for the mainline station. Journey time to Liverpool Street is approximately 30 minutes.
