John Allee, Service Delivery Manager, HP Enterprise Security


John joined HP from his role as Integration Manager in Vodafone’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) where he was one of the team that built Vodafone’s Global SOC from the ground up. He drove the expansion of the GSOC’s ArcSight footprint across 18 local operating companies and 3 major data centers worldwide. He developed a framework for onboarding security event sources across the global estate to ensure consistent technology implementations and successful alignment of business and incident response processes across the enterprise. Prior to joining Vodafone, John was at Fidelity Investments where he was a Consultant Analyst and subject matter expert responsible for delivery of a number of large software development initiatives covering brokerage trading platforms and portfolio management systems. John is Service Delivery Manager for HP Enterprise Security Products in the DACH and Benelux regions, responsible for ESP’s professional services business there. He is based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Angelo Brancato, Principal Solution Architect, EMEA, HP Enterprise Security


Angelo Brancato has more than 10 years experience in IT Security. Since 2010 he has worked as a Principal Solution Architect at HP Enterprise Security Products (HP ESP) in EMEA. His current focus is on IDS/IPS, SIEM, Source Code Analysis and Data Protection.

Dr. Sebastian Broecker, CISO, Deutsche Flugsicherung


Dr. Sebastian Broecker, (ISC)²-certified CISSP, is CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) bei der Deutschen Flugsicherung (German Air Traffic Control) for 7 years. He worked before for many years as IT Security Officer, IT OpRisk Manager and also as an expert in awareness for a German bank. During his Ph.D. promotion he researched chemical computing. Dr. Broecker is a well known lecturer at IT security congresses, especially about Awareness, holistic IT security and privacy. Additionally he works as a journalist about IT Security issues.

Prior to Palo Alto Networks he was working in different positions as a Security Specialist, Business Development Manager and Project Leader in the Security area.

Robert Duncan, Chief Information Security Officer, Euronext


Robert Duncan has been CISO at Euronext since August 2014. Rob is responsible for overall Information Security Strategy along with the oversight of various core teams: Threat and Vulnerability Management, Security Architecture, Application Security, Security Operations, and Awareness, as well as managing the relationship with regulators in respect to the firm’s security posture. Robert has extensive international experience, having been based in New York, London, Hong Kong and Australia. Prior to Euronext, he worked for ANZ Bank in Melbourne, Australia, where he was responsible for Technology Risk and Security for their International Global Markets division.  He was also Head of Global Risk and Governance for Prudential plc PGDS division, supporting the division globally with extensive travel of Asia and the USA.  He holds an LLB (London), MBA (Cranfield), and a post graduate qualification in Executive IT Management from Columbia University in New York.

Hans Irlacher, Presales Engineer, Proofpoint


Hans Irlacher is presales engineer at Proofpoint and is specialized in email security and incident response management. Prior to Proofpoint he was working for several Email- and Endpoint-Security as well as cloud technology vendors. His extensive knowledge about IT security comes from his time at the German armed forces, where her worked as an IT security specialist in cooperation with the NATO allies.

Dr. Axel Keßler LL.M., Head of Legal Privacy, Siemens AG


Dr. Axel Keßler ist seit 1998 Rechtsanwalt im Bereich IT, neue Medien und Datenschutz tätig. Er wechselte 2004 von Hogan Lovells in die Rechtsabteilung der Siemens AG. Zunächst betreute er die IT- und Outsourcingaktivitäten der Siemens AG und sodann leitete er die Legal Abteilung für die Carve outs des Siemens Konzern. Seit 2013 ist er als Head of Legal Data Privacy für die Governance und rechtliche Beratung in Sachen Datenschutz für den Konzern zuständig. Axel Keßler ist promovierter Rechtsanwalt und nach seinem Studium an der Georgetown University auch im Staat New York, USA, als Anwalt zugelassen.
Matthias Kraft, Director of Information Security & Privacy, ENERCON


Matthias Kraft is an Information Security and Privacy executive with more than 12 years of experience within the IT industry. After gaining significant experiences in software engineering and IT consulting, he worked for a global consultancy firm to help customers realizing potential in the areas of Information Security, IT Risk Management and Information Systems Audit. He currently works as Director of Information Security & Privacy for ENERCON, a leading manufacturer of wind energy converters in the renewables energies sector. Matthias worked in Germany, France, Luxembourg and New Zealand and is currently based in Germany. He holds multiple professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC and ISO27001LA.
 
Jan Niggemann, Regional Director Central Europe, Return Path


Jan Niggemann is Regional Director Central Europe at Return Path. In this role he has overall responsibility for Return Path’s Sales and Service activities in the Central European region including all customer and partner activities. Jan is a huge fan of email and convinced that there is a lot of opportunity to optimize the interface between senders and mailbox providers to make sure email continues to be the best performing marketing tactic. The gap today is clear with 20 % of opt-in marketing emails never reaching the inbox. Jan’s focus on email marketing started in 2007 when he was tasked with building an international email service provider’s business in Germany. Before that he worked for the Bertelsmann group of companies and the US-headquartered Cendant Corp, and was highly successful in bringing innovative Marketing concepts to Germany.

Maurice R.P. Smit is an Information Risk & Security management specialist who has worked as an Information Security Officer and Operational Risk Manager within a large international bank. He has over 15 years of IT experience, including development, operational maintenance, and management. And currently works as a strategic trusted advisor for HP customers, throughout several industries. His certifications include SABSA Chartered Practitioner, CISSP, CISA, ITIL v3 - Management of Risk and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor. He is contributor to the development of SABSA methodology, as well as a programme manager for the SABSA Institute. Maurice is a SABSA Instructor delivering SABSA Foundation training several times a year.
Michael Rohsé, Solutions Architect DACH, HP Enterprise Security


Michael has focused his professional career in IT Security and is responsible for the ArcSight SIEM portfolio in the DACH region. He is helping customers and business partners to choose the right ArcSight solutions and to integrate them in their IT infrastructure. Before joining HP, Michael has worked in Pre- and Postsales roles at Tripwire, Modulo, Digital Guardian, Symantec and GeNUA.

Clients include more than 550 pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences companies. inVentiv Health’s global services include clinical development (CRO), selling solutions (CSO), medical education, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, digital strategy, and management consulting. She has over 15 year experience in the clinical trial field and works in the area of Data Privacy since beginning of 2007. Her role includes leading of data protection projects, developing of data protection initiatives, counselling in all global data protection and privacy related topic and reporting to senior management. Additionally, she represents her company in Industry Privacy working groups. Barbara has a PhD in Biology obtained at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich (Germany) as she worked for four years as scientific assistant at the “GSF-Forschungszentrum für Umwelt und Gesundheit” (Research Centre for Environment and Health).
Dieter Zeller, Crisis & Emergency Management, Deutsche Telekom


Dieter Zeller was born 1959 in Friedrichsdorf. He studied electronic technology with priority on telecommunications in Friedberg. After his studies he started at Deutsche Bundespost and has soon developed to a highly regarded expert of fraud prevention in telecommunication and white collar crime. Since 25 years he is working in the company primary in security issues with different main contents: fraud detection, fraud investigation, fraud prevention, emergency and crisis management. Since more than 6 years he is leading the department of emergency and crisis management of Deutsche Telekom in Bonn. He is responsible for national and international development of group wide similar security processes regarding emergency and crisis management.
 
He was responsible for the pandemic precaution and –solution all over the company and built up a new organization for security, emergency and crisis management. Currently he cares group wide about incidents and is developing new processes for group wide - national and international - crisis management. He was coproducer of the book „Fraud Management: Der Mensch als Schlüsselfaktor gegen Wirtschaftskriminalität“. His teamwork with universities and academies is another priority: his pleasure is to teach at Frankfurt School, Hochschule Koblenz am Rhein-Ahr Campus and Cologne Business School. His extensive competencies are highly welcomed for research projects at TU Berlin.
 
Since 1999 he is responsible as Chairperson of Deutsches Fraud Forum (prevention of crime in telecommunication in Germany, DFF). Therefore he presents the DFF in the board of „Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Sicherheit in der Wirtschaft (ASW)“. Additionally he was member of the Board of Directors of “Communication Fraud Control Association (CFCA)” until 2014 in USA. He is member of ASIS German Chapter.
